Nathan Ellis to Bumrah, out Bumrah Run Out!! Oh mix-up and gone. Slower delivery, Bumrah defended this right next to the pitch and expected Varun Chakaravarthy to respond but Varun said there was never a run there. Bumrah was halfway down the pitch when he had to reverse and Elllis quickly moved forward to effect an easy runout. Bumrah run out (Nathan Ellis) 0(1)

W
Nathan Ellis to Abhishek Sharma, out Lbw!! That is the end of the fun for Abhishek Sharma and India. Gets a great ovation as he walks back and the incoming Bumrah gives him a pat on the back. After two wide yorkers, Nathan Ellis knew Abhishek would walk across to get closer to the ball expecting a wide yorker again so he cleverly bowled a yorker straight at the stumps and Abhishek couldn't get bat on ball. Ball pitched in line with leg stump, struck the boot and would have smashed leg stump, confirmed by ball-tracker. Abhishek Sharma lbw b Nathan Ellis 68(37) [4s-8 6s-2]

6
Bartlett to Abhishek Sharma, SIX, this is brilliant from Abhishek Sharma. Moved across the stumps. Bartlett bowls slow and into the wicket, gets inside the line and picks it up over long leg for six
17.2
4
Bartlett to Abhishek Sharma, FOUR, full toss and Abhishek manages to smash it to deep cover. Shuffles in the crease, puts the bowler off his lengths and gets the much needed boundary
16.5
W
Stoinis to Kuldeep Yadav, out Caught by (sub)Abbott!! Taken with a good dive forward at short mid-wicket. Short delivery, Kuldeep looks to pull, toe-ends it. Abbott dived full length and grabbed it inches from the ground. Kuldeep Yadav c (sub)Abbott b Stoinis 0(6)

W
Bartlett to Shivam Dube, out Caught by Josh Inglis!! This time he nicks off. The only difference from the previous ball was the line. The four was outside off stump, Bartlett landed this on middle stump and got it seam with extra bounce. Dube played that awkward poke away from the body with absolutely no feet, ball flies off the outside edge and Inglis dives to the left. Two wickets in this over to derail the Indian innings again. Shivam Dube c Josh Inglis b Bartlett 4(2) [4s-1]
15.3
4
Bartlett to Shivam Dube, FOUR, edgy but who cares! The trademark Dube poke with no feet to a ball that rises on him, thick edge goes through the vacant slip region and third man can't cut it off
15.2
W
Bartlett to Harshit Rana, out Caught by Tim David!! Short slower delivery into the wicket, Harshit tries to fetch it from off-side, backed himself to clear the shorter straight boundary at the G but holed out. Back of the hand slower delivery, Harshit was already staying leg-side so he had to fetch, got it off the bottom of the bat. Pretty decent hand though. Might have wasted a few balls towards the end but he hung around to give support to Abhishek Sharma. Harshit Rana c Tim David b Bartlett 35(33) [4s-3 6s-1]
14.5
6
Stoinis to Harshit Rana, SIX, muscled! Picked this slower delivery that sat up, set a solid base and absolutely smashed this over mid-wicket to raise the team 100 and the 50 partnership
12.4
4
Kuhnemann to Harshit Rana, FOUR, Harshit cuts Kuhnemann again and gets it past backward again. This time played with full control, timing and placement as he rocked back quickly to play this flatter delivery
12.3
M
Kuhnemann to Abhishek Sharma, 1 run, short and wide to take it out of his arc, cut to deep point and the MCG applauds the 6th T20I fifty - one of his fine T20 innings. Cannot be easy to bat at this tempo when he's losing partners. Raises the bat to acknowledge all the applause
11.5
4
Stoinis to Harshit Rana, FOUR, flicked away, Head runs to the left from long leg, dives and gets a hand on it but the ball bounces into the rope again. Shortish delivery down leg, Harshit hops and flicks behind square
10.4
4
Kuhnemann to Harshit Rana, FOUR, oh aerial but escapes between backward point and short third man. Shortish delivery, Harshit goes back and slices the cut, didn't control it and gets away as it found that gap. Otherwise would have been straight to hand
10
4
Mitchell Owen to Abhishek Sharma, FOUR, Abhishek Sharma is playing the field so well. Short delivery on the leg stump, Abhishek gets inside the line and pulls fine as they have fine leg up. Easily cleared the infield
9.1
4
Mitchell Owen to Abhishek Sharma, FOUR, short and wide, hit me ball and Abhishek rocks back and cut this handsomely over backward point. Third man was up so easy shot
8
Bartlett to Harshit Rana, 1 run, short of length delivery outside off stump, Rana goes back and taps it to point
7.3
W
Bartlett to Axar, out Axar Run Out!! 2 runs completed. Poor communication between the two. Axar initially was slow to take off for the first run but felt there was enough time for the third run while Abhishek Sharma was only keen for two. He put his arm out to stop his partner. By then Axar was already halfward down the pitch. He slipped and tried to dive home but was caught short. Tim David didn't think there was a runout chance. He spotted the batters trying the third and quickly fired a good throw to Inglis, who did the rest. Needless runout for India. Axar run out (Tim David/Josh Inglis) 7(12)
7.1
Bartlett to Axar, no run, oh though chance and put down! Short of a length delivery on the leg stump, Axar stepped out for a whack, hit it back hard to the left of the bowler, who didn't have any time to react
6.2
4
Hazlewood to Abhishek Sharma, FOUR, length delivery angling away, thick outside edge escapes past Inglis's dive to the left to give him four more. Hazlewood loaded as he if he's going to bowl a slower ball and then changed his grip last second to go seam up
6
4
Nathan Ellis to Abhishek Sharma, FOUR, meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma continues the treat for us. Backs away, Nathan Ellis tries the yorker but Abhishek manages to get under it and squeeze it past point for four more

W
Hazlewood to Tilak Varma, out Caught by Josh Inglis!! Oh he's swipes across the line, top edge flies high, Inglis calls for it as it goes towards short fine leg and takes a simple catch to the right. Length delivery on the stumps, Tilak wanted to access the square leg fence but holed out. Hazlewood has India tottering with his Test match lines and lengths. India unable to cope with the bounce and the seam movement at the G today. Tilak Varma c Josh Inglis b Hazlewood 0(2)
4.3
W
Hazlewood to Suryakumar Yadav, out Caught by Josh Inglis!! Gee, that's a proper Test match dismissal to a star T20 batter. Unplayable short of length delivery angling in around off stump and nipping away, SKY got totally squared up. Oopsy that's too good kind of defence, thick outside edge and flies straight into the hands of the keeper. SKY didn't get towards the ball at all. Just poked at it with cement feet and nicked off. Suryakumar Yadav c Josh Inglis b Hazlewood 1(4)
4.2
Hazlewood to Suryakumar Yadav, no run, dropped! It's not very often that you see SKY fail to get the pick-up flick right. This was a length delivery finishing leg stump, you would normally see him smack this deep into the long leg stands but extra bounce meant it flew off the glove. Inglis fumbles overhead, then tried to recover and grab with a dive but couldn't

4
Nathan Ellis to Abhishek Sharma, FOUR, now Abhishek gets a friendly full toss and it's lofted over cover for four more
3.5
4
Nathan Ellis to Abhishek Sharma, FOUR, excellent shot! Okay, back to the Abhishek Sharma story after those two wickets. This guy has a great range of shots. He advanced again, but he still has enough shots to react to what is coming and also manages to keep his eyes on the ball all the time. Here Nathan Ellis tried to bowl a short slower delivery into the body, Abhishek ensured he stepped out but also gave some room to slice it over short third man for four
3.3
W
Nathan Ellis to Samson, out Lbw!! The experiment doesn't work. Sanju got hit on the back leg, unlike the Gill review earlier. Gill was a long way out of the crease too. Here Sanju was deep in the crease trying to play this fullish delivery. Sharp nip-backer from Nathan Ellis and he traps Sanju plumb in front of middle stump. Ball would have gone on to smash leg stump says ball-tracker.Samson lbw b Nathan Ellis 2(4)

W
Hazlewood to Gill, out Caught by Mitchell Marsh!! Hazlewood the man with the golden arm these days. Absolute slot ball, Gill would agree. That is exactly why he wanted to loft over mid-off but got it off the bottom of the bat and the Aussie skipper took the sitter taking a few steps back from the ring. Gill is furious with himself as he walks back early. Gill c Mitchell Marsh b Hazlewood 5(10)

6
Bartlett to Abhishek Sharma, SIX, this is why this guy is dangerous. He faced 4 balls and rocketed to 14 already. It is swinging so Bartlett goes full, Abhishek danced down the pitch, spotted the inswing and made room accordingly for a clean lofted drive over extra-cover. First maximum of the day
1.4
4
Bartlett to Abhishek Sharma, FOUR, and he runs down the pitch second ball. Puts the bowler off and Bartlett bowls a low full toss, Abhishek gets leg-side to free his arms and belts the drive over cover!
0.1
Hazlewood to Gill, no run, that looked plumb, but ball-tracker says missing as the ball flies over leg stump. Hazlewood can't believe it and walks back shaking his head with a smile. The Aussie bounce is what has saved Gill here. He got away trying to reach out for this nip-backer. Would have been better of playing close to the body but the side-on replay showed his bat was a long way forward from the pad, which is why he totally missed the ball. Wasn't a fullish ball, front foot across the line, impact in front of middle and looked out but DRS showed ball bouncing over by a long way. Turns out to be a good review from India
